Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
